KANSAS CITY, Mo.— Targeted Metrics, a newly established inside sales and marketing firm,
has selected the KC region to locate its headquarters and sales operations center creating 535 new jobs.
“We were impressed with Kansas City from day
one of our location search. The Kansas City market offers us a tremendous growth opportunity plus access to an existing available skilled workforce that values high productivity,” said Mike McGuire, director, Targeted Metrics.

Targeted Metrics evaluated multiple locations across the U.S. before selecting the KC region. The company will initially lease 15,000 sq. ft. at 1504 NW Vivion Road. Over the next two years, Targeted Metrics plans to expand to 60,000 sq. ft. and hire 100 percent of its employees in KC.

“The Kansas City area is getting major buzz across the U.S. as a great metropolitan community where companies like Targeted Metrics can hire and attract talented people,” said Bob Marcusse, president and CEO, Kansas City Area Development Council. “It’s important for our region to offer a wide variety of sustainable career opportunities at all professional levels to grow a balanced economy.”

The Kansas City Area Development Council partnered with a number of regional organizations to attract Targeted Metrics to Kansas City including the Economic Development Corporation of Kansas City, Missouri; City of Kansas City, Missouri; Clay County Economic Development Alliance; Missouri Partnership; Missouri Department of Economic Development; State of Missouri – Office of Governor Jay Nixon; Metropolitan Community College; KCP&L; Missouri Gas Energy and the Full Employment Council.

“This is a big win for Clay County,” said Clay County Presiding Commissioner Pamela Mason. “Targeted Metrics is bringing hundreds of well paying, skilled jobs to our region. This is exactly the kind of economic development we pride ourselves on in the Northland. We look forward to more of these announcements in the months ahead.”

Metropolitan Community College has worked to support Targeted Metrics from the beginning of their site selection helping them understand the education, training and consulting services the college is able to provide.
